Levi Gangi is a multi-instrumentalist musician from the Finger Lakes region of New York State, with an undying love for piano music. He grew up playing classical music and began to compose in college, sneaking into the piano practice rooms behind unsuspecting music majors (and often missing dinner). He seeks to invoke imagery in his music, helping listeners access memories, empathy, natural beauty, and above all - peace of mind. His blended contemporary style is influenced by the instrumental compositions of George Winston, James Newton Howard, Yann Tiersen, Michael W. Smith, Mitchell Froom, and Dustin O'Halloran.
Levi's performance experience in western New York includes weddings, restaurants, hospice benefit concerts, years of contemporary worship leading and arranging, and contributing music to local films and documentaries. His compositions are in rotation on WXXI classical radio 91.5 in Rochester, NY. He also writes and performs widely with his Folk/Americana band, The Lonely Ones.
Levi has been an affiliate of the performing rights organization SESAC since 2016.
